HA!Our nearly 13 year old dog has decided that the tree is the perfect back scratcher.
Eww. And I thought it was gross that our cat chews on the boughs as a sort of toothbrush. I guess there are always worse things...
Oh...I guess I should have clarified...this didn't actually happen. But my irrational fear that it will is what keeps me from getting a live tree!
I almost wish we did have such a thing, as the rain is making walk time less appealing, and the sitting on my butt on the couch is making letting him out the door less appealing as well!
My dog already has an indoor bathroom...it's called carpet!
My cats like to use the tree as a climbing frame..
I found this amazing bathmat mad out of live moss and thought it was the most wonderful idea in the world. Until I remembered I have cats. And a dog.MMmm... no. Never mind.
"Thanks for taking the time to decorate the area I will claim as my territory! How thoughtful of you, owner-lady!" I would be totally fearful of this as well. Type A over here.
Good thing we don't have a Christmas tree this year. My dogs would think the same thing. And my cat would break all of the decorations and probably get stuck in the tree.
Haha it took me a second to get it and see the doggie leg up. I'm not running on all cylinders today, obviously.I'm glad that you clarified that this is a fear, not based on actual events! That would be very...ew! But I'm sure it has happened before many a time. Ah, the joy of pets! :)
Great to see you back Miss Stephanie . . . .
Hahaha! Oh how I've missed you. And you are great at doing your dog!
Well, if you just wash off any prior animal scent with bleach, you should be fine. :)We always had real trees and the thing is, the branches are too annoying to the dog, and so they usually don't want to mark the trunk. I think they prefer deciduous trees.
Ha, ha! Thanks for the smile Stephanie!
Oh, that is too funny. Thanks for the laugh!
Very cute! Miss you! Glad Chase is happy!
YOU'RE BACK! =DHe's pretty cute!
Our dogs never bothered with the Christmas trees. The cats though, little bastards, used to spray the hell out of them. Apparently, their territory was threatened by a big green smelly thing that doesn't move. Or maybe they just thought we liked it better than them. I've missed you!
So good to see you! Love your plasticine doggie even though he's being bad.
Nice to see any post from you, Stephanie! Your doggie is very cute. ; )
Deck the halls.... :) Thanks for the giggle!
