Oh, who am I kidding.
I love zombies.

* That last bit is actually a lie. I like to pretend that I'd be a kick-butt zombie hunter should the opportunity arise, but the truth is that I'd probably die in the first wave, cowering and blubbering in the corner.
And with this post, the A-Z challenge is officially DONE!

Anyone care to join me in my happy dance?
Congratulations...In honor of you finishing this challenge I'm going to Dance-Walk to the gym and pretend I'm not embarrassed if someone sees me...

Ha! I love that. If I saw you, I'd totally join in.
DeleteYou're so exited that you're a day Early! But that's ok, I messed up with "Q" and "R" Got them reversed. Anyway, whenever I think of Zombie...I think of you, Stephanie!!!
ReplyDeleteDone, done, done. I didn't want to wait a day!
DeleteI would def die right away. Love those zombies anyway!
ReplyDeleteThat is well cool as someone said Sunday is the day off, but well Zombies are a law unto themselves and it is appropriate that they should turn up today.
ReplyDeleteHowever it does mean that if you like you can do another Z tomorrow HAH HAHAH HAH HHAH HAHH HAHA HAHAH HAH HHAH
A bit like running the Marathon then running a lap of honour...Can Zombies run?
Well done on getting to the end......
No, absolutely not. Zombies can NOT run. That's why they're scary...they're slow, but they can overwhelm you. I just can't get behind the whole "fast zombies" thing.
DeleteI am terrified of zombies!! I'd probably be first to die!! x
ReplyDelete*happy dance*
ReplyDeleteZombies are my irrational fear! Playing too much resident evil when I was
Little is to blame!
I hardly think it's irrational.
Deletehappy dance!!!
ReplyDeleteSo after I read world war z I couldn't sleep for weeks because I would have to try to figure out what I'd do to stay alive. I considered changing our house design... how far the range on hubby's motorcycle was, the relative merits bunkering at the fire company vs staying at home, which neighbors had really big guns, etc. Finally I did one of those web tests about my zombie survival skills and realized that I am just so likely to be one of the first to go that I tasked the hubby with saving the kids and finally slept.
Ha! Yes, these sorts of things can keep us up at night. I have to say, though, that I didn't love World War Z.
DeleteWell done for completing the challenge. I enjoyed following it very much by the way. I am trying to find a good challenge to set myself for May but so far I am pretty uninspired.
ReplyDeleteyou are too funny. ZOMBIES, what's not to like? bleah
ReplyDeletewell yours are cute anyway
Mimi Torchia Boothby
woohoo! congratulations!
ReplyDeletei'm with you on the zombie, in my head I'd be an awesome zombie-killing-ninja, but in reality I'd lock myself in my apartment and probably starve to death while hiding in my closet. =[
Yes, yes. And that's why everyone should keep a decent stash of food hidden in their room.
Delete*joining in with happy dance!*
ReplyDelete:)
M.x
Yay! congrats! I would be blubbering right along with you, laptop in hand, blogging about the zombie apocalypse while absolutely refusing to leave the "safety" of my bathroom. In my defence I might have a bottle of fantastik I could spray on the advancing zombies...but ultimately my children and I would die...its hard to run fast when you have to carry so many kids. They would be my ultimate downfall.
ReplyDeleteBahaha! Well, I suppose that's one reason to be thankful that I don't have kids. Thanks for helping me look on the bright side!
DeleteHoly crap, you are amazing for doing this. And I am the same way. It isn't that I want everyone to DIE, exactly, but a change would be nice. Zombies would do the trick.
ReplyDeleteCHANGE. Exactly. Because life can be so insufferably boring.
DeleteYou can't see me Stephanie but I am doing my happy dance with you.
ReplyDeleteI really shouldn't attempt to the do the Beyonce booty shake. I've already knocked out the Lil man, caused cracks in the wall and a small tsunami in several small countries.
And you did all that for ME? Awwww...
DeleteHappy dancing with you!! Very cute end to a great challenge!!
ReplyDeletebetty
Yayy congrats! I've seen a lot of people drop off (the challenge, not due to zombies) so mad props for finishing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Dance indeed! You made it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo :)
ReplyDeleteThose zombies are awesome. ZAZZLE them!
This series rocked. Zombies, unfortunately, still freak me out. I blame "Thriller." That Vincent Price part??
ReplyDeleteWhere did I put that valium?
I'm dancing for you you! I adore these clay zombies, great job.
ReplyDeleteI really hate zombies, but the clay ones are kinda cute. lol
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing though!
I love zombies too! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting :)
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for Z just to see your groovy zombies. Yay for you finishing the challenge and getting to end on one of your favorite themes. As much as I long for the apocalypse so I can stop going to my stupid job, I really hope it is not a zombie one. They still scare the crap out of me. Ever since I saw the re-make of Dawn of the Dead, I check everywhere I go for zombies before I can relax. I'm still to chicken to watch Walking Dead. Congrats on making it through A-Z.
ReplyDeleteBut it's soooooo good! The Dawn remake is still my favourite zombie movie.
DeleteWho doesn't love zombies? Especially the totally adorable ones (I'm sorry...I mean horrible, awful scary ones) that you create, Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are hooked on AMC's The Walking Dead. We started watching at the beginning of season 2 and just finished watching all of season 1 on Netflix. Great entertainment.
Huge congrats on the completion of your A-Z challenge! Truly fabulous job! :D
Best show EVER!
DeleteI feel a little like a zombie as this Challenge wraps up! But so happy I joined in, and found great blogs like yours! :)
ReplyDeleteSadly, I even got a wee bit scared at Shaun of the Dead, which, let's face it, is only slightly less scary than Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Glad you're into them... I will tell them where your house is when they start attacking.
ReplyDeleteSo, so happy for you that the A to Z Challenge is no more. (But I know you'll keep cranking out the most excellent posts.)
Oh, I'm sure they'll listen to reason.
DeleteI found you through the a - z - great blog and now I'm following.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! :)
DeleteCongrats on completion!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely joining you in that happy dance!
ReplyDeleteThere is a clay Andrea somewhere who really wants to dance! Thanks for adding so much pizazz and so many laughs to my April!
ReplyDeleteWe all would like a good zombie apocalypse...I caught a glimpse of I Am Legend on the TV today but knew if I stopped to watch I wouldn't get back up. Great challenge and I have enjoyed your site all the way through! Happy Dance it is!
ReplyDeleteHappy dance commencing as I just got my last post scheduled to go too! Yay!!
ReplyDeleteOh, now you just had entirely too much fun! Love your zombies. They're much cuter than your average run-of-the-mill brain sucker.
ReplyDeleteI would love zombies, but they are smelly. I've never seen one in person, but I watched a documentary on voodoo, and yes, they look smelly.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Way to wrap up the challenge! You are awesome!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! all the way to the end, i was there. Good job. :)
ReplyDelete*does the happy dance*
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Stephanie! :D
-Barb the French Bean
Love your clay zombies! And in my mind, you would be a kick-booty zombie hunter. In fact, put that on your resume and use me as a reference.
ReplyDeleteHappy dancing for you! Congrats on finishing the challenge! Ellen
And now I'll spend the rest of the day trying to make a list of jobs that will need my zombie hunting skills.
DeleteCongratulations on a strong finish! I <3 your zombie hunting skills.
ReplyDeleteHah! New it would be ZOMBIES!
ReplyDeleteThat's because you're smart. And zombies obviously haven't eaten your brains yet.
DeleteThey don't scare me. I have a teenager. Besides I might get to meet Mila Jojovitch. Congrats on finishing. I'm done too, but then I didn't start.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I agree with Curmudgeon. Teenagers are much worse than zombies.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the happy dance with you, tho I still have a Z post to write. Maybe just zzzzzzz....
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAnd way to end the challenge with the way that the world will meet its ultimate end...
Congratulations, Stephanie! My Z post isn't up yet, but it's already scheduled, so I'm right there celebrating with you :)
ReplyDeleteI insist to everyone that my fear of Zombies is not any more irrational than any other fear one might have, since aren't most fears somewhat irrational? And aren't Zombies just as likely to occur as being forced to speak publicly or having to fly on a plane or seeing a spider?! Now I'm not stockpiling guns and 50 years worth of canned creamed corn, but even the 2 year old here knows mommy gets a little more on edge when we play "zombie-eat-your-brains." But being slightly masochistic I am a huge Walking Dead fan. Just cause I want to know how it's all going to end for me (I have no delusions about my lack of speed or wit during a crisis, though for some reason I can seem to admit I will never be a "crafty" gal who can sew quilt or make a replica of the Eiffel Tower out of toothpicks).
ReplyDeleteOh, and in case you are wondering 50 years worth of canned creamed corn = zero cans of creamed corn. Because it just gross and wrong and should never be stockpiled or eaten, period.
I totally <3 this blog!
Ashley S :)
It's absolutely NOT irrational. More like inevitable. I laughed out loud at your creamed corn comment. Now I'm picturing the end of the world, and you find yourself bunkered down in a creamed corn factory. So what do you do? Eat or starve?
DeleteStarve. If you eat the creamed corn, the Zombies win! Because then they have truly robbed us of our humanity.
DeleteAshley S
If you had done something other than zombie for Z I'd have been really disappointed. I'm glad yopu made the right choice!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love zombie stories and movies, in truth, a zombie apocolypse is my worst nightmare. I'd be dead immediately. By my own hand. I'm not letting anyone get to MY brains!
ReplyDeleteCongrats again for doing this! We understand if you space out for the next week.
Dancing happily as I type! Congratulations on getting through the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing this challenge! I can't imagine blogging 26 days in a row. Like you said, my blog just isn't a blog-a-day type of blog. I absolutely love the image that says: "the hardest part about a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited." I'm a zombie enthusiast/car freak, therefore, I have already chosen my vehicle for the eventual apocalypse. Anyway, once again great job!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOUR CLAY ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to put lots of exclamation points so you'd know how much I love them.
ReplyDeleteAs I said before, it is really impressive how much effort you put into making great posts with clay as opposed to just words. So congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Congrats. I loved it. Love your zombies too. I want in on this challenge next time!
ReplyDeleteIt was a blast! You are a rock star! You can't see my happy dance, but it's going on all up in here!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'd like to think I'd be an awesome zombie hunter... I've watched Zombieland a few times and am trying to memorize all the rules. But, yeah. I'd probably get turned into a zombie because of some bit of stupidity. :)
